How it works

Tell us four things: the camp where your activity is booked, where we collect you in Marrakech or at the airport, the date, and how many of you there are. We come back on WhatsApp or by email with a vehicle and a fixed price. Once you say yes, we lock in a pickup time.

Riad and hotel pickups are door to door, the driver comes to your address. Inside the Marrakech medina, where a car can't reach every doorway, we settle on the nearest spot a vehicle can get to and your driver waits there at the agreed time. At Menara, he meets you in arrivals holding a name sign.

After that it's a straight run to your camp. Most day trips work like this: the driver waits while you do your activity, then drives you home the same day. Prefer to be dropped and collected later at a set time? That works too. Whichever you pick, you've got one phone number for the whole thing.

When you're done and ready for Marrakech, you message the same driver or our WhatsApp line. He runs the route back in reverse, straight to your accommodation or wherever you're heading next.

Fixed price and what is included

You pay per vehicle, not per head, and we confirm the number in writing before you commit to anything. Here's how it lands for Agafay activity transfers:

• €80 one-way, or a same-day round trip, to most Agafay camps. This is the usual day-trip rate, with the driver either waiting or coming back the same day.
• €100 to the two camps sitting deepest in the desert, Nkhila Lodge and Stellar.
• €140 for a round trip spread over separate days, say a drop-off one day and a pickup the next.
• A private vehicle for your group alone, door to door from your pickup point to the camp.
• Luggage and day bags carried free, no surcharge on normal personal items.
• A licensed, professional driver who actually knows the route and the camps.
• Your price fixed by message before you leave, so no meter and no haggling at the end of the trip.

One thing we don't sell is the activity. Camel rides, quad and buggy sessions, lunches, sunset dinners, pool day passes, those you arrange directly with the camp or the operator running them. Our job is moving you to it and back.

How long does it take?

Reckon on up to about an hour from central Marrakech or Menara Airport to most Agafay camps. The real figure shifts with your pickup point, which camp you're aiming for, and how the traffic behaves on the way out of town.

Most of that hour is tarmac, the road that runs out toward the desert. The last bit, the approach to the camps, is an unpaved piste, and that's slower than the main road by some margin. Drivers take it at a steady pace, so it adds a few minutes but keeps the ride smooth rather than jolting.

Choosing the right vehicle

Group size, luggage, and which camp you're visiting decide the vehicle. We match it to your trip when we quote.

• Sedan — fine for one to three passengers traveling light. Comfortable and easy on the wallet for couples and small groups out for the day.
• Minivan — families or groups of roughly four to seven, with space for day bags and a couple of small cases.
• 4x4 — the confident pick for the piste, handy when a group wants extra clearance on that unpaved final stretch into the camps.
• Coach — bigger parties and events, enough seats to take a sizable group out for a shared excursion or dinner.

Why book a private transfer instead of a street taxi or app

Flagging a taxi in Marrakech for Agafay is a gamble. Plenty of drivers don't know the desert pistes, won't touch the unpaved final stretch, or bump the price up the second they hear where you're going. Roadside renegotiation is a real risk, and not a fun one.
